Google Ads: Extensions Upgraded




If you have been creating extensions in your Google Ads account lately, you may have noticed an option under Extensions called "Upgraded".

In Swydo we got you covered, so as of this week you can add the "Custom Extensions (upgraded) widget" to your reports.

Extensions are being upgraded to enable new features and reduce complexity of extension creation and management. The main benefit is that it allows marketers to use extensions not only at group level, but also at campaign level and account level, plus it brings a new feature to pause campaigns.

Say hi to our refreshed brand!




Times change and so do we! After 11 years evolving as a company, we decided it was time to refresh our brand.

Today, we are proud to introduce new energy to Swydo with a new palette of colors, new typography, and a modified logo that reflects better who we are now as a product and as a company. We have also redefined our mission statement and our brand values, in line with the results of valuable teamwork and insightful customer feedback.

As of today you will see a Swydo interface with bigger letters, lighter and brighter colors, rounded edges, and a bit more space between characters to make the experience of reporting a more pleasant one.

What’s New

👉 Updated logo

We love our logo and what Swydo stands for: “Show what you do online”. We also feel very identified with the 4 colorful people standing strong and symbolizing the essence of our job: Communication.

With this reasoning in mind, we decided to stay as close as possible to our existing logo, but give it a fresher and more modern look. We have made the colors lighter, improved spacing, and refreshed the edges. Here the results:

🎨 Our Palette

We call it Tulip, as it was born in the Netherlands, the home of our company, and its colors represent our brand personality:

Friendly, Modern, and Playful.

You will find these new colors in our platform, our website, our marketing communication, and of course in our logo. They bring to mind different moods and emotions that relate to trust, intelligence, growth, creativity, friendship, and playfulness.

New typography

Our new typeface is called Epilogue, a flexible, clean, and playful font made in New York. It has a simple feel with small quirks for easier readability.

Our brand identity

To redefine who we are, we onboarded on an exercise where we imagined our brand as a person and described it with all the characteristics related to it. After conveying and aligning on a long list of qualities, we selected the 3 main attributes that resonate the most, and which we are now proud to present as our company values:

TikTok Ads Integration successfully released!




We are very excited to announce that we have successfully completed the beta test of the new TikTok Ads integration and it is now fully released and available for all of our users. 🎊

TikTok has become a must-have advertising platform for marketers targeting young people, and here at Swydo we got you covered! Our new TikTok Ads integration includes all the key metrics needed to report the performance of your ads and and to analyze your audience:

✅ Report at all levels --> campaign, ad group, ad, and their history.

✅ Monitor your audience; e.g. clicks by age/gender, country, and platform.

With this integration we have also made available a new report template and a set of default widgets ready to use.

How to start?

👉Go to Templates.

👉 Go to Report Templates.

👉Go to Search and type “TikTok Ads Report” or scroll down. (Templates are organized alphabetically).

👉Go to Create Report at the top right corner of your screen and select a client.

👉Add / select your TikTok Ads data source and click Create Report. All your metrics will be filled automatically.

That’s it!

Now start customizing your report by adding or editing widgets and by adjusting the branding style according to your needs.

Find all your team information under Settings




📣 Important update: As of today you can find all your team information such as Billing, Connections, and Custom Integrations under Team Settings, which is now located on the left side menu instead of on the right corner of the top bar.

Google Ads Campaign Group is back




If you were missing the option to add Campaign Groups into your Google Ads campaigns, we have good news for you: Google has added it back and so did we!

This option was deprecated with the latest update of Google Ads, but after listening to customer feedback Google has decided to launch a limited version of it, so you can now find it back in our reports.

Campaign Groups are very helpful to track the overall performance of multiple campaigns with similar goals.

💡 You can start using it again to create groups with any combination of Search, Shopping, Display, or Video campaigns and monitor if you are on the right track with your performance targets.

Presentation Mode is here!




If you’ve ever given a report presentation and wished you had a present mode and a laser pointer to highlight your key points, we have great news for you!

We just released a simple but very useful feature that allows you to show your reports in full-screen mode when presenting them to your clients, and with it we have added a laser pointer to help you emphasise your results better. 🎉

Where to find it?

Go to the blue “Share” button on the top right corner of your app, and select “Present”:

Your menu and edit options will disappear, and you will get a clean full screen view that will help your audience to focus on your report without being distracted by external items. You will also see a red dot that will move with your mouse as a laser pointer.

Once you are done with presenting, hit the “Esc Key” and go back to where you left off.

Top Bar Menu Optimisation




In order to enhance your reporting experience and facilitate the navigation through the different options of the top bar menu, we have introduced an upgraded design with the following changes:

✅ An updated bar on the top right corner of your reports with icons for edit branding, scheduling options, and more options, which is now always visible when you scroll down.

✅ An optimised Share dropdown menu

✅ A brand new presentation option that allows you to go in full screen mode and convert your mouse into a laser pointer.

Report your Google Ads Change History with Swydo




Monitor and report what you have done in the last 30 days on your Google Ads account with our new Google Ads Change History widgets.

You can select from a variety of KPI’s and report the amount of changes you have done in different categories such as ad changes, budget, bid, conversions, network, keyword, status, or targeting changes.

You can also create a table to display a complete list of actions sorted out by user (the person who created the changes), campaigns, ad groups, or change types, or use any of our available visual tools to tell your story the way you want.

This new feature will allow you to understand better what events may have had an impact on your campaigns, and will also let you share with your clients all your Google Ads activities of the last 30 days in one place.

How to set it up?

→ Go to your report → Insert a Widget → Select the Google Ads data source you want to report on → Go to Change History and select “Custom Change History Widget” or one of our default widgets.

A pop-up window will appear

→ Go to Presentation → Click on Visual and select the one of your preference:

  • Use KPI to show a total count of your changes and then pick up the metric you want to use

Or use Table to display a full list of actions and then go to Dimensions & Metrics to define the type of data you want to see and how to sort it out:

*Please keep in mind that due to the limitations of Google, we are only able to pull data from the last 30 days from today, so you can’t set any different time ranges.

Our TikTok beta integration is now live!

Multiple Swydo teams made easy, the Swydo MCC




We released a new feature. You can now create a new Swydo team (account) and switch between Swydo teams easily from within your current account.

Why is this handy?

Many of our clients want to organize their reporting process in multiple environments, for instance, organize it for a certain set of customers, certain account managers, regions, product categories, labels, or other use cases.

To facilitate those use cases, we have introduced an easy way to create new teams in Swydo and to switch between teams. Users that are members of multiple teams can switch from one team to another. It is like the MCC in Google Ads.

You can find this new switch and create feature in the top left corner of Swydo.
