Connection sharing, now available!

 

New

 

 

Today we launched a much-requested feature that will make using data connections much simpler.

You can now decide if you want to share your connections with other Swydo users in your team! When you add a new connection you can choose to make it either “shared” or “private”:

Any users in your Team that have the Owner, Admin, or User role can use the connections you mark as “shared”.

What can I use this for?

Take Google Ads for example. Previously everyone needed to connect their own account, but now only one colleague needs to setup an MCC with access to all customers and connect that to Swydo for all of your colleagues to use it! 



What about my existing connections?

Your existing connections have been made "private". If you want to start sharing any of them with your team, you can do so on the Connections page.



The connection page can be found by clicking your user icon at the top right in Swydo and then selecting "Connections" in the menu that appears.

We are excited to announce the Beta integration with Semrush.

Incorporating competitive analysis into your marketing reports and dashboards will now be easier with the beta launch of our new Semrush integration! Users will be able to access data for the following Semrush tools:

  • Backlink Analytics
  • Organic Research
  • Domain Overview
  • KMT (Keyword Magic Tool)
  • Keyword Overview
  • Organic Research
  • Position Tracking

Facebook Ads integration improvement

We have updated our Facebook Ads integration to be more stable and reliable. We have split the Ad Insights category into 4 categories, following the logic in the Facebook Ads interface:

  • Account
  • Campaigns
  • Ad Sets
  • Ads

This not only makes the selection of metrics and dimensions more intuitive, but we have also eliminated some discrepancies that could occur in some edge cases.

What do I need to do

Nothing: All your current reports and widgets have been migrated automatically to this new configuration, making this a smooth transition as much as possible.

Swydo now integrates with Search Ads 360!

Search Ads 360 is a search management platform that helps agencies and marketers efficiently manage some of the largest search marketing campaigns in the world, across multiple engines and media channels.


Pinterest Ads & Organic

We also added two Pinterest integrations: Ads and Organic! With the new Pinterest data connection, you can now give a full Social overview together with our existing integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Pinterest is a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and more. With more than 500 mln users Pinterest is a large platform to target consumers.

This summer the Swydo Integrations team has taken the time to check the current integrations, next to launching the Betas for Search Ads 360, Pinterest Ads, and Pinterest Organic. We have added numerous new metrics and dimensions to our current integrations.

Update to Facebook Ads metrics and attribution window filters

Facebook has implemented changes to the Marketing API to be compatible with the Apple App Tracking Transparency framework. To be in sync with those Facebook API changes we have updated our Facebook data connection.

What are the consequences?

We have migrated some metrics that are not compatible with these new API updates or that are not available anymore. As much as possible we have replaced these metrics with alternatives.

Furthermore did we remove the attribution windows 28-day click, 28-day view en 7-day view filter options, as these were deprecated already by Facebook, so we removed them as a selectable option.

Do I need to do anything?

All you widgets and KPIs should still work and be populated with data. You could check the widgets that had the 28-day click, 28-day view en 7-day view attribution window filter for a new filter option.

Facebook Ads iOS 14 update

Facebook announced changes to their attribution window structure due to updated requirements by Apple that are being rolled out starting this week.

What does this mean?

Facebook has added a new option to their API allowing us to automatically fetch the statistics for your campaigns and ad groups with the attribution windows you setup for them. Starting today, we will be using this option as default, so your attribution windows will be taken over automatically.

Do I need to do anything?

If you want to use a different attribution window for the data you're requesting, you can still overwrite it using the "Action attribution window" filter available in your widgets. Otherwise, we'll use the default attribution windows as defined by Facebook.

Snapchat out of beta (and other integration updates)

We are happy to announce Snapchat is now available for all Swydo customers. 🎉 The integration allows you to report on your Snapchat marketing efforts. Shout out to everyone in the Beta Program helping us make this happen!

Besides this, we've expanded our Google My Business and HubSpot integrations with the following new functionalities.

HubSpot

You can now report on statistics for your email campaigns and deals! When adding a new HubSpot widget, you'll see two new widget categories to create widgets from: "Deals" and "Emails".

Emails

The Emails category allows you to report on your email campaign statistics. Use this to show email campaign metrics such as the amount of deliveries, opens, click-throughs and spam reports!

Deals

With the Deals category, you can report on the statistics that are available for your deals. The category allows you to create a list of top-earning deals, see how many deals closed within your selected date range, or even create a visualisation that outlines a division based on the amount of contact your agents had with your lead!

Google My Business

For Google My Business we added the ability to report on the questions asked for your business.

Select the new widget category "Questions" to create a widget showing the questions that are being asked for the business. With the metrics available you can see whether they have been answered and how many upvotes it received so far, allowing you to anticipate and adjust based on the asks from the business
