Multiple Swydo teams made easy, the Swydo MCC

We released a new feature. You can now create a new Swydo team (account) and switch between Swydo teams easily from within your current account.

Why is this handy?

Many of our clients want to organize their reporting process in multiple environments, for instance, organize it for a certain set of customers, certain account managers, regions, product categories, labels, or other use cases.

To facilitate those use cases, we have introduced an easy way to create new teams in Swydo and to switch between teams. Users that are members of multiple teams can switch from one team to another. It is like the MCC in Google Ads.

You can find this new switch and create feature in the top left corner of Swydo.

Google Ads updates

The past months, we have been hard at work updating our Google Ads integration to the newest version of Google’s Ads API. With this, some new features from Google are available but also some of your data may look different than it did before.

Below, we will outline the most important updates.

Audience performance

Google has split up their audience performance statistics into two categories: Campaign audience and Ad group audience.

What do I need to do?

Nothing!

We will automatically update all your widgets to use one of the two new categories based on your widget’s settings:

  • If any fields/filters only available for ad groups were selected, the widget will start using the Ad group audience category.
  • Otherwise, it will use the Campaign audience category.


Do note that the data shown in your widget may differ because it no longer contains both campaign and ad group audience data.


New features

Besides this update, Google has also added support for more data from their platform!

New campaign types

The following campaign types are now supported and will be returned when retrieving data for Google Ads:


  • Hotel campaigns
  • Smart campaigns
  • Local campaigns
  • Performance Max campaigns
  • Discovery campaigns 



Income range performance

See what type of audience performs best for your ads and improve your targeting with Income range performance. This category allows you to see how the different income ranges of your audiences perform.

User location view performance

Besides Geo performance, it is now also possible to see the statistics of user locations! Create a geo bubble map to visualise this data for your customers.

New fields

Some additional fields have also been made available in widget categories that could support them! Below a list of new fields you may find:


  • Metrics:
    • Cost per phone call
    • Avg. call duration
    • Avg. impression freq./user
  • Dimension & filter:
    • Household income

Semrush integration released for all Swydo users

Our much-requested Semrush integration is available to all Swydo users! Start incorporating SEO competitive data with the rest of your marketing data in your Swydo reports and dashboards. The Semrush integration includes position tracking, organic research, backlink analytics, keyword overview, and more.

Smart, Local and Hotel campaigns support in Google Ads

Improvement

  

We are happy to announce the support of Smart, Local and Hotel campaigns in our Google Ads Integration.

With this upgrade, we also added new Dimensions, like 'Ad destination' and Metrics like "Target CPA" and "Target ROAS", and deprecated some others. The dimensions and metrics we deprecated were already deprecated by Google and/or not available anymore in the Google Ads User Interface.

The addition of Smart, Local, and Hotel campaigns support is part of a larger overhaul of our Google Ads integration in which we will also improve support on Ad group level, Ad level, and other categories.

So stay tuned for more improvements in our Google Ads integration.

Improved report creation flow

Today, we launched our new report creation flow!

You can now create a report in a more intuitive manner. The report templates are presented visually and in the report creation flow, you are asked to choose or connect the right data sources, instead of having to append the data sources after report creation.

It is a 3-step approach.

  1. Start with a template or blank report,
  2. Choose the client,
  3. append the data sources and there you go, your report is ready. Fewer steps to a great report!

This is another step in making your reporting easy.

Connection sharing, now available!

Today we launched a much-requested feature that will make using data connections much simpler.

You can now decide if you want to share your connections with other Swydo users in your team! When you add a new connection you can choose to make it either “shared” or “private”:

Any users in your Team that have the Owner, Admin, or User role can use the connections you mark as “shared”.

What can I use this for?

Take Google Ads for example. Previously everyone needed to connect their own account, but now only one colleague needs to setup an MCC with access to all customers and connect that to Swydo for all of your colleagues to use it! 



What about my existing connections?

Your existing connections have been made "private". If you want to start sharing any of them with your team, you can do so on the Connections page.



The connection page can be found by clicking your user icon at the top right in Swydo and then selecting "Connections" in the menu that appears.

We are excited to announce the Beta integration with Semrush.

Incorporating competitive analysis into your marketing reports and dashboards will now be easier with the beta launch of our new Semrush integration! Users will be able to access data for the following Semrush tools:

  • Domain Overview
  • KMT (Keyword Magic Tool)
  • Keyword Overview
  • Organic Research
  • Position Tracking

Facebook Ads integration improvement

We have updated our Facebook Ads integration to be more stable and reliable. We have split the Ad Insights category into 4 categories, following the logic in the Facebook Ads interface:

  • Account
  • Campaigns
  • Ad Sets
  • Ads

This not only makes the selection of metrics and dimensions more intuitive, but we have also eliminated some discrepancies that could occur in some edge cases.

What do I need to do

Nothing: All your current reports and widgets have been migrated automatically to this new configuration, making this a smooth transition as much as possible.

Swydo now integrates with Search Ads 360!

Search Ads 360 is a search management platform that helps agencies and marketers efficiently manage some of the largest search marketing campaigns in the world, across multiple engines and media channels.


Pinterest Ads & Organic

We also added two Pinterest integrations: Ads and Organic! With the new Pinterest data connection, you can now give a full Social overview together with our existing integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Pinterest is a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and more. With more than 500 mln users Pinterest is a large platform to target consumers.

This summer the Swydo Integrations team has taken the time to check the current integrations, next to launching the Betas for Search Ads 360, Pinterest Ads, and Pinterest Organic. We have added numerous new metrics and dimensions to our current integrations.
