You can now choose between two Google PageSpeed report types:

  • Core Web Vitals
  • Diagnose performance

This update makes it easier to monitor real-user experiences and investigate website performance issues, with report types that better match the Google PageSpeed interface.

Core Web Vitals

Monitor six key metrics that reflect the experience of real users, helping you track loading performance, responsiveness, and visual stability:

  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
  • Interaction to Next Paint (INP)
  • Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)
  • First Contentful Paint (FCP)
  • Time to First Byte (TTFB)
  • First Input Delay (FID)

Diagnose performance

Dive deeper into website performance with detailed metrics and two dimensions:

  • Audit: Explore individual website audit checks to identify potential performance issues.
  • Final screenshot: See what the page looks like after everything has loaded.

This report type also includes performance scores, loading and responsiveness metrics, and insights into potential optimizations, such as reducing wasted resources and improving loading times.

Which report type should you use?

Choose Core Web Vitals to monitor key user experience metrics, or Diagnose performance to investigate specific issues and identify opportunities to improve page speed.
